homage to the weekend

Teetering on the edge
Feet flirting with the gradual slip of time
Poised to fall, to travel
Into the promised land
The expanse of weekend
A playground of inner freedom
And outer delight

aaaah, I sigh. and turn off the computer and re-possess my mind and being and retreat from the week of work and begin the journey back to space of self.
